Neuhoff School of Ministry faculty includes a Catholic Press Association book award winner and faculty who have served in leadership of national groups serving the ministerial needs of the church in the United States (e.g. NCEA, AGPIM, NACARE, NALM). The academic expertise of our graduate faculty is deeply rooted in hands-on experience at parish, diocesan, and national levels. We're committed to placing our talents at the service of the Church.

Cynthia and David Freeman Professor of Sacred Scripture and Affiliate Assistant Professor of Theology, Neuhoff School of Ministry

Fr. Ramirez obtained his doctorate in Biblical Sciences, along with a licentiate in Biblical Sciences from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, Italy. He also received an S.T.B. at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.    frramirez@udallas.edu

Bob McCarty holds a D.Min. from the Graduate Theological Foundation in IN, as well as, a Master of Arts in religious education from LaSalle University. He is currently a pastoral ministry consultant and trainer and has served in professional ministry since 1973, most recently as the executive director for the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM). rjmccarty@udallas.edu

Veronica Alonzo has worked for 20 years in numerous Catholic schools. She is currently the Associate Superintendent for Operations for the Diocese of Dallas.

Matthew Vereecke is the current Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Dallas. He has served as a teacher, principal and president of various schools.

Parents Support University in Late Daughter's Memory

Mike Kiegerl's youngest daughter, Christine, would have graduated from UD in the Class of 1994, but just before her graduation, she was struck by an impaired truck driver and died instantly. Kiegerl and his wife, Peggy, established the Christine S. Kiegerl Memorial Scholarship in their girl's memory in 1997.
