January 9, 2016 marked an important day for sixty Spanish-speaking catechists from the Diocese of Atlanta. After three years of online course work in Scripture and church history, youth and young adult ministry, liturgy, sacraments, prayer and spirituality, graduates are both equipped and inspired to continue and advance their work in pastoral ministry.
At the graduation ceremony, Bishop Luis R. Zarama sent forth the Spanish-speaking church leaders to catechize and evangelize the faithful from Gainesville to Jonesboro and fortify Hispanic ministries across the archdiocese.
