A Wonderful Cluster of Strange People Honored at Senior Convocation

Seniors celebrated four years of hard work and idiosyncrasies during the 2013 Convocation ceremony on Thursday, May 9, in addition to receiving departmental awards and sharing their post-graduation plans.

Andrew Moran, associate professor of English, delivered the convocation address and Deandra Lieberman, who was elected valedictorian by her class, reminisced about the "punster seminarians, chant-singing rugby players and caffeine addicts" that make up the Class of 2013.

"You are a wonderful cluster of strange people, and it has been an honor to spend four years with you," Lieberman concluded.
