Dear UD Family,
I previously wrote to the UD community extending Spring Break by one week to March 30 and announcing that we would deliver education online for the following two weeks. As we announced previously, all classes will resume on March 30.
We have now made the very difficult but necessary decision to move all courses to an online format for the remainder of the semester. We understand how life-altering this must feel, especially to the graduating class. We will walk through these trying times together as a tight-knit university community. I expect to update the UD community soon about Commencement.
Given the good example of online instruction we have had for many years in many of our graduate programs and the training that all of our faculty are currently undergoing, I am confident we can deliver an outstanding education through this model.
Provost Jonathan J. Sanford and Dean of Students Julia Carrano will be following up with faculty and students shortly.
