Your generosity allows us to maintain and expand our collections and services.

Established in 1962, the Library has approximately 300,000 volumes, including circulating books, serials, and special collections. Students, faculty, and staff have access to more than 100 databases and 84,000 online publications.

Endowments in Blakley Library

Benefactors can make lasting donations to the Cowan - Blakley Memorial Library by establishing collection endowments. The principal of the endowment remains intact, and a percentage of the earned income is used by the Library annually. You may name a collection endowment for yourself, or you may honor or memorialize a family member or friend. If requested, a bookplate is placed in all items acquired with an endowment's income. The Cowan - Blakley Memorial Library has established $10,000 as the minimum gift for the endowment account.

If you are interested in establishing a named scholarship, please contact:

Book Donations to Blakley Library

In addition to endowment and monetary gifts, donations of books and other materials can make an important impact upon the library's collections. Gifts accepted include books, periodicals, personal papers, and other materials. These treasured volumes from your collection will help enrich our holdings by allowing us to add titles we cannot afford to purchase.
