Special Circumstances Confirmation

Thank you for submitting your Special Circumstances Form to the University of Dallas.

Please submit your tax information by using data retrieval on the FAFSA. Alternatively you may also submit your tax information by sending us a signed copy of your Federal Tax Return or Tax Return Transcript. Special Circumstances will not be reviewed without this information.

Make sure to submit all supporting documentation if you did not attach it to this form. You may:

1. Upload documents by going to the Financial Aid tab in BannerWEB and clicking on "Document Upload -- Financial        Aid" (documents must be in pdf format),                                                                                                                                  2. Email documents to us at verification@udallas.edu
3. Fax documents to us at 972-721-5074,
4. Mail documents to University of Dallas Financial Aid Office/1845 E Northgate Dr/Irving TX 75062, or
5. Drop documents by our office in Cardinal Farrell Hall, first floor.

Once we have received all necessary documents for the special circumstance(s), your information will be reviewed. You will hear back from us regarding changes to your financial aid award package within two weeks via email.

$250,000 Federal Grant to Support Politics Doctoral Students

"Our department has two fundamental guiding principles: the study of political philosophy and the study of American founding principles," said Richard Dougherty, MA '89 PhD '93, associate professor of politics and director of the politics graduate program. It is this emphasis on American political development combined with the quality of faculty and the rigor of the University of Dallas' politics doctoral program that led the U.S. Department of Education to award UD a $250,405 grant for stipend support for politics doctoral students through its Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need program.
