University of Dallas Financial Aid Forms
For a Perkins loan, complete both the Perkins Entrance Counseling and Perkins Master Promissory Note.
Note: The Perkins MPN and Entrance Counseling may NOT be faxed or emailed. We must have the original signature on both items. Please drop the forms by, or mail them
to the Office of Financial Aid, 1845 E Northgate Dr., Irving TX 75062.
If you are not a US citizen or Permanent Resident,
but you are classified as a Texas resident and therefore are eligible to pay the Texas
in-state tuition rate, use this 2016-2017 TASFA application (TASFA instructions). To use this application, your classification as a Texas resident must not be due
to a waiver, such as an in-state scholarship or an assistantship.
Selected for Verification
The federal government selects FAFSAs to be verified by the financial aid department.
Our school may also select FAFSAs to be verified. During verification, a financial
aid counselor must confirm that certain data elements on the FAFSA are correct before
a student may receive any financial aid. In order to have payment arrangements made
by the tuition due date, please turn in all requested verification items by the deadlines
- Fall 2016 Priority Verification Deadline: July 1, 2016
Fall 2016 Final Verification Deadline: November 15, 2016
- Spring 2017 Priority Verification Deadline: December 15, 2016
Spring 2017 Final Verification Deadline: April 15, 2017
Failure to submit documentation by the final verification deadline may result in loss
of financial aid eligibility. Our office is not required to complete verification
after the final deadline has passed. Students may appeal to the Director of Financial
Aid for an extension to the deadline.
Official tax return information from the IRS is required as part of the verification
process. When completing your FAFSA online, you have the option of using the IRS Data
Retrieval Tool. Please see page 3 of the verification worksheet for further instructions.
The IRS Data Retrieval Tool is the preferred method of submitting tax information
to the school because it is the quickest, easiest, and most secure way to submit your
tax information. ~
