Federal Direct Subsidized Loan

Awards are available to undergraduate students with financial need, enrolled at least half-time in a degree-seeking program.

  • Annual award: up to $5,500 (depending on grade level - see chart below)
  • Interest rate: 4.53% fixed (disbursed after 6/1/19)

Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan

Awards are available to undergraduate students enrolled at least half-time in a degree-seeking program.

  • Annual award: up to $12,500 (depending on dependency status and subsidized loan eligibility - see chart below)
  • Interest rate: 4.53% fixed (disbursed after 6/1/19)

Federal Stafford Annual Loan amounts* are:

*This reflects the maximum loan amount a student may receive in a single academic year. Depending on eligibility, the amount may be less.
# Also includes dependent undergrad students whose parents are unable to obtain a Parent Plus loan.

 

Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan

Credit-based loan for parents of dependent students enrolled at least half-time.  

  • Annual award: up to Cost of Attendance (less any other aid received). 
  • Interest rate: 7.08% fixed (disbursed after 6/1/19)
  • To apply, go to studentloans.gov . The parent must sign in to apply.

This summer, the University of Dallas invites students, alumni, faculty and staff to join its first-ever tour abroad of Russia, led by Professor of Physics Richard Olenick and Affiliate Instructor of Spanish, French and Italian Irina Rodriguez. Cowan-Blakley Memorial Library Showcases Rare Books Room

No longer relegated to the damp lower level, the Cowan-Blakley Memorial Library's Rare Books Room has for the past two years occupied a prime spot on the second floor, where there used to be study carrels. The room, made of glass walls, is normally locked and only opened by appointment, but on Sept. 26, the library hosted an open house for faculty and staff to come and examine these treasures.
