The resources listed below are available for exploring Postgraduate Service opportunities:
Center for Social Concerns: We at the Center for Social Concerns invite you to explore the possibilities of
committing to a post-graduate service program. Each year, approximately 10% of Notre
Dame's graduating class commits to one or more years of full-time service in the United
States and abroad. We find much hope working with students and alumni/alumnae who
make this commitment and want to help to make it a positive and worthwhile experience
for everyone who participants and for the service organizations.
Idealist.org Action Without Borders: Idealist connects people, organizations, and resources to help build a world where
all people can live free and dignified lives.
Idealist is independent of any government, political ideology, or religious creed.
Our work is guided by the common desire of our members and supporters to find practical
solutions to social and environmental problems, in a spirit of generosity and mutual
respect.
Invisible Children: We are made up of a tireless staff, hundreds of full time volunteers, and thousands
of students and supporters. We are young, we are citizens of the world, we are artists,
activists, and entrepreneurs. This fall, we are using our voice to ask President Obama
to spearhead efforts to bring peace to Northern Uganda. We are mobilizing a generation
to capture the attention of the international community, and make a stand for justice
in the wake of genocide.
