Lamberti's Catered Dinner 

Alumni and locally owned restaurant, Lamberti's Ristorante and Wine Bar will be providing an exclusive four course dinner for those who have purchased the Founder's Groundhog Ticket this year. This ticket has limited spots available, so purchase them while you can!

(will provide vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as needed)

Appetizer Course: Chilled antipasto sampler (sliced, grilled zucchini, cannellini bean salad, roasted peppers, olives, pepperoncini and fresh tomato) 
 
Salad Course: Lamberti‚Äôs House salad with Rustic Italian bread and garlic butter 
 
Main Course: 6 oz Fillet with gusto, garlic parmesan potatoes, and seasonal veggies (broccolini, red bell peppers, yellow squash) 
 
Dessert Course: Chocolate cake with mulled wine sauce 
 
Wine and Beer will be available throughout the dinner.

$250,000 Federal Grant to Support Politics Doctoral Students

"Our department has two fundamental guiding principles: the study of political philosophy and the study of American founding principles," said Richard Dougherty, MA '89 PhD '93, associate professor of politics and director of the politics graduate program. It is this emphasis on American political development combined with the quality of faculty and the rigor of the University of Dallas' politics doctoral program that led the U.S. Department of Education to award UD a $250,405 grant for stipend support for politics doctoral students through its Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need program.
