High School Summer Programs Arrive in Rome

After a smooth and uneventful flight, everyone arrived safely at the Rome campus and spent some time getting settled. In the afternoon, students visited the beautiful nearby town of Castel Gandolfo, where they saw the Pope's summer residence, the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova (designed by Bernini!), and Lake Albano. They also ate their first--but certainly not last--Italian gelato. Despite the jet-lag, everyone is happy to be here and excited to get started.
