High School Summer Programs Arrive in Rome

After a smooth and uneventful flight, everyone arrived safely at the Rome campus and spent some time getting settled. In the afternoon, students visited the beautiful nearby town of Castel Gandolfo, where they saw the Pope's summer residence, the Church of St. Thomas of Villanova (designed by Bernini!), and Lake Albano. They also ate their first--but certainly not last--Italian gelato. Despite the jet-lag, everyone is happy to be here and excited to get started.

The Fall 2018 Rome class arrived in Italy on Saturday, August 25 to begin four months of traveling, studying, and reveling in all that Europe, Italy and Rome has to offer. They wasted no time jumping right in with site tours, mass at St. Peter's and loads of traditional Italian cenas.
