Following their “10-day” Fall break, students had a day off from a busy academic week to attend a Pope Francis’ papal audience at Saint Peter’s Basilica. Buses left campus very early, so that students could beat the crowd and get the best seat possible. Many students were within a few feet of Pope Francis as he drove through the piazza. He also acknowledged the University of Dallas during his address!

The Fall Romers left for their last group trip of the semester on Wednesday, November 8. The group traveled to visit Florence, Venice and Assisi. Some of the highlights of the trip include visits to the Doges' Palace and San Marco in Venice and the Uffizi, Accademia and Duomo in Florence.

The Fall 2017 Rome class headed off for their 10-day trip to Greece on Friday, September 29. The Greece Trip is one of the highlights of the Rome Semester as students travel to some of the greatest cities and the richest sites of the ancient world. The Fall 2017 class explored Athens, Dodona, Delphi, Meteora, Mycenae, Nafplion, Olympia and Thermopylae.
