There is currently highway construction underway to improve connectivity and traffic flow into Downtown Dallas. For details including detours and lane closures go to Dallas Horseshoe Project. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2018.
Car, truck, and trailer parking at the convention center is easy. The KBHCCD garage and three surface parking lots (Lots C, D, and E) can accommodate almost any vehicle; however, they do not offer overnight parking or utility connections for campers and RVs. Parking is $15 per entry (ie, no in-and-out service)
For your convenience, the Dallas Convention Center has partnered with Parking Panda, the nationwide leader in online parking reservations, to allow visitors to purchase guaranteed parking near the convention center in advance. With Parking Panda your reservation is always gauranteed. Parking Panda is only available for Lots D and E. Lot D is $15 and Lot E is $10. Click here to reserve your parking in advance. Book early and park happy later!
We encourage carpooling, or using public transportation (see information below) as parking will be limited, especially if there are several events at the convention center that weekend.
With its convenient Downtown location, there’s hardly any need to drive to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Public transportation is readily available and convenient.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has a light rail station at the Convention Center. Take either the Red or Blue line to the front door of the KBHCCD. The DART rail station is located on Lamar Street at Memorial Drive.
Or ride DART’s free D-Link shuttle bus (Route 722) to shopping and entertainment. The D-Link stop is located on Lamar Street at Ceremonial Street, just outside the C Lobby entrance. See the D-Link map on the KBHCCD Website for more information. The Convention Center is located at stops #3 and #4.
