Joshua Skinner is Compliance Officer in the University of Dallas' Office of General Counsel. Before that, he was a trial and appellate attorney for more than fifteen years at Fanning Harper Martinson Brandt & Kutchin, P.C. and then served as the Director of the University's Office of Civil Rights and Title IX. Joshua's practice has focused on education and employment law, local government defense, and appellate advocacy. He also served as assistant general counsel and employment law counsel to various public and private entities, and as counsel on a wide range of civil rights and employment cases and appeals. He earned his B.A., English and M.A., Philosophy at the University of Dallas, and his J.D. at Ave Maria School of Law.
