Welcome to Student Employment at UD!
Student Employment is an excellent learning opportunity for students. Students work on campus throughout the course of each year in positions such as: Office Assistants, Capp Bar Baristas, Research Assistants, Tutors, and more.
The University of Dallas employs currently enrolled students through one of two types of employment: regular hourly student positions and federal work study* positions. Minimum pay is $8.00 an hour, but positions may start at a higher rate depending on the job and the student’s qualifications. Students may work up to 28 hours per week; however, international students may work only up to 20 hours a week.
*Work Study is awarded through Financial Aid to eligible students. Work study is a needs-based award, and completion of a FAFSA is required to determine eligibility.
Some on-campus contractors, such as Aramark (Cafeteria), Follet Bookstore, and HES (facilities) offer positions for students; however, employment is offered directly through each of them.
The Office of Personal Career Development (OPCD) posts off-campus employment opportunities for students.
