Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Installation of GlobalProtect VPN client:

  1. To get the installation file, please contact us at: support@udallas.edu
  2. After receiving and downloading the file, double-click on the file to begin the installation
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation

Connecting to GlobalProtect:

  1. Start the GlobalProtect client
  2. Portal Address: remote2.udallas.edu
  3. Username: MyUD Login username
  4. Password: MyUD Login password
  5. Select Sign In

If all goes well you will see a message that will tell you are connected. If it does not connect, be sure to check the following:

  • If on campus, are you connected to the WiFi?
  • Are you connected to the internet?

If you are using a Mac and having issues initially connecting, please restart your machine and sign in again.
