The Master of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a 36-hour program designed to meet the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's requirements for STEM designation. It is designed for students with a technical degree or related technical work experience.

AI Master’s Degree Program Length

The master’s in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a 36-hour program comprising 13 classes that help students develop the tools they need for a career in data science and AI. Almost all classes are on the Irving campus or in a hybrid format (partly online, partly on campus). This allows a wide range of face-to-face collaborative opportunities with other students and professors. No GMAT or GRE is required for admission. For the typical working professional taking two classes per semester, the MS in business analytics program can be completed in about 1-2 years.
