Do I need to register in advance?

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, as it helps us estimate proper headcount and food for each reunion and reception. 

During the weekend, on-site and class reunion registration will be available in J.M. Haggar University Center on Friday, Oct. 15, and Saturday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at an extra cost.

On-site registrants may pay by cash or credit card. If possible, please register in advance.

What’s included in my registration?

ALL weekend events are included in your registration! This includes the Welcome Tailgate Dinner, Due Santi Wine Tasting, Faculty EnCore Lectures, Rugby game, student performances, Alumni & Student Networking Social, Reunite with Faculty at the Cap Bar over cold brew, and more! 

Class Reunions are a separate fee. 

If I choose to attend an event as a walk-in over Reunion Weekend, can I pay with cash?

We accept debit cards, credit cards (although we are unable to accept American Express), and cash, however we will have limited change. Please have exact change if opting to use cash for any reunion events. 

Who can come? Can I bring my family and friends?

AFW is open to everyone, including family and friends from other classes! Just be sure to register all adults over age 13.

How do I get around campus?

We highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes throughout the weekend. Campus maps will be provided at the registration table. 

Is parking available?

Complimentary parking will be available for all Alumni & Family Weekend guests and continue for the duration of the weekend. On-campus parking is in high demand over the course of the weekend, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What should I wear?

 Daytime temperatures are typically between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit and evening temperatures are between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures may vary by room and venue, so for your own comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers. During the day, events and clothing are casual. Reunion attire can be business casual to casual. Ask your peers what they're wearing! 

What if I have special needs?

Please let us know about any special needs—including dietary requirements or handicap accessibility needs—when you register by emailing udalum@udallas.edu or calling 972-721-4046. We will do our best to accommodate your needs as long as we know about your circumstances at least one week prior to the weekend.

What are resources for childcare?

University of Dallas cannot refer, recommend or offer child care on campus during university events. Alumni are encouraged to connect with friends or family in the DFW area to inquire about hiring a babysitter.

Personal Referrals: You can seek recommendations from classmates or organize babysitters for groups. Your class Facebook page can be a great resource for finding a child-care provider.

Do I need to register my child for the weekend?

Children 12 and under are not required to register as your guests. 

 What activities are available for children?

  •  Bouncehouses are open Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m. - sundown.
  • Face Painting & Balloon Animals as well as an opportunity to meet the Groundhog mascot on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m..
  • The Physics Department holds their open observatory tour and science activity Friday evening for all ages.

UD Announces Last Crowley Chamber Trio Concert of the Season

The last Crowley Chamber Trio concert of the season will be on Dec. 6 and Dec. 7 at the Museum of Biblical Art at 7:30 p.m.

The Crowley Chamber Trio is composed of University of Dallas faculty members Kristin Van Cleve, violin; Marie-Thaïs Oliver, cello; and Andrey Ponochevny, piano.
