Sponsored by the Jack Miller Center & the American Studies Graduate Program

University of Dallas
Saturday, March 12, 2022
SB Hall | 10 AM-7 PM

Winslow Homer, In the Country Store

A conference for the discussion of the teaching—especially at the K-12 level—of American literature, history, politics, and civics, bringing together academics, scholars, and other leading figures with local classical educators. This first event will focus on the question of the “regime,” understood broadly as the “constitution” or “way of life” of a people. What is the American regime, and how ought teachers to instruct in or about it?
