Our Catholic Faith
At the University of Dallas, the light of the Catholic faith shines through every aspect of campus life—not only in theology courses, but across all subjects and events.
More About Our Catholic Faith
Faith in the Classroom
The University Of Dallas is a welcoming, faith-filled community anchored in the Sacraments and enriched by the presence of religious orders who teach there.
Students at the University of Dallas are encountering God through their studies. UDallas’ nationally recognized Core Curriculum challenges students to engage with theology, philosophy, science, and the arts—discovering truth through reason and beauty. Rooted in Catholic faith, the Core fosters intellectual and spiritual growth, all within a community strengthened and nourished by the Sacraments.
At UDallas, learning isn’t just about academics—it’s a path to God and a life well-lived. Discover how faith and study come together at the UDallas core.

Educating the Whole Person
For hundreds of years, the Catholic Church has been delivering education that takes the whole person into account. UDallas continues the longstanding Catholic intellectual tradition, preparing students for success beyond UDallas and encouraging them to make a difference in the world by providing rigorous scholarship with an emphasis on the liberal arts, a commitment to spiritual and ethical values and the development of the whole person.
