Archives and History

University of Dallas Archives and Special Collections

The University of Dallas Archives and Special Collections serves as both a mini-museum and archive. Collections of papers, photographs, and audio-visual materials pertaining to the University are available for in-person and online research.

Visiting the Archives

The University of Dallas Archives and Special Collections is located separately from the Cowan-Blakley Memorial Library.  The Archives is located on the backside of the Blakley Building, with the entrance facing Novinski (formerly Haggar) Circle. Visitor parking is available close by; there is also limited parking available specifically for those visiting the Archives.  Please email the Archivist for appointments or special requests.

UDSpace (institutional repository)

UDSpace is a searchable, cloud–based platform that stores, collects, and displays historical and scholarly documents, lectures, conferences, student publications, and media related to the University of Dallas.

Several of UD's yearbooks are available via ancestry.com. Ancestry.com is a paid subscription service, however many ancestry.compublic libraries offer free access with your library card. Please check with your local public library for details about gaining free access.
