What is the Big Event: Serving Irving

Since its introduction in 2021, The Big Event: Serving Irving has become the largest, one-day, student-run service project at the University of Dallas. Each year, hundreds of University of Dallas (UD) students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together to say “Thank You” to the residents of Irving. For the past 4 years, UD students have participated in this annual event to show their appreciation to the surrounding community, completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting for residents of the community. This is a unique opportunity for the UD community to give back to the community that has served them for so many years.
