IRVING, Texas (Jan. 5, 2024) — The Quest, a television series developed by the University of Dallas as seen on the global Catholic network EWTN, has been adapted for radio and will begin airing on Divine Mercy Radio the first weekend of January.
The Quest will air for the next 20 weeks, and the first episode, “The Voice Within,” will air at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday at 540-AM.
Divine Mercy Radio is a lay apostolate dedicated to sharing the truth, beauty, love and joy of the Catholic faith in North Carolina. Other Divine Mercy weekend programming includes Patrick Madrid and Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ, who formerly taught at the University of Dallas.
The Quest draws on stories from Scripture, history and literature to explore the Christian life as a narrative of joyful courage in troubled times. Joining the efforts of faculty members from many disciplines, including art, theology, modern languages and literature, the series is written by screenwriter and longtime English Department faculty member Shannon Valenzuela, PhD, BA ’00.
The second season, The Quest: The Way of Beauty, launched last fall. The Quest can be watched on EWTN or at quest.udallas.edu.
