IRVING, Texas (April 30, 2026) — The University of Dallas will open a full-tuition scholarship competition on May 1, exclusively for undergraduate transfer students applying for fall 2026 admission. One recipient will be awarded full tuition, offering a transformative opportunity for a student seeking a premier Catholic liberal arts education in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Transfer students interested in the scholarship are encouraged to apply for admission as their first step. Students may submit both the admission and scholarship applications simultaneously, without waiting for an admission decision.

The scholarship application includes three essay questions; applicants will choose one to answer. Applications must be submitted by June 1. Applicants whose submissions are selected will be invited to participate in an interview, which must be scheduled and completed by July 1.

“We are pleased to offer this full-tuition scholarship competition to all transfer students applying for fall 2026 admission,” said Dr. Philip Harold, dean of Constantin College of Liberal Arts. “Transfer students bring a breadth of experience that enriches our campus; we look forward to welcoming them into the deep intellectual and spiritual life that defines UDallas.”

“Transfer students come to us with incredible drive and purpose, especially since they’ve already experienced college life elsewhere,” said transfer admission counselor German Lopez, BA '21, MBA  '25. “This scholarship is a remarkable opportunity. I am excited to see who applies and begins their UDallas journey."

Transfer students with questions about credit eligibility are encouraged to visit our Transfer Academic Advising page or contact German Lopez directly. Students transferring fewer than 24 credits must also submit a high school transcript.
