The University of Dallas offers students the option of purchasing books and supplies at the UD Bookstore with excess financial aid funds using a UD book voucher.
Book vouchers are available to students whose pending financial aid is greater than the charges for a particular semester.
Book vouchers may be used to buy or rent books and other items at the University of Dallas Bookstore located in the Haggar University Center.
Book vouchers may not be redeemed with any vendor other than the UD Bookstore.
The book vouchers may be used for online payments. Please consult the UD Bookstore for details.
Book vouchers are usually issued in amounts not exceeding $350.00.
Students who find that cost of the books exceeds the $350.00 limit may request a higher amount so long as the excess financial aid is not exceeded. A student can find the cost of their books by going online to the Follet Bookstore.
Students may not add money to their account to get a book voucher.
Students must request a book voucher online by filling out the form at this link: Book Voucher Form
Students should allow up to 24 hours for the processing of their Book Voucher Request to the Bookstore. Any request after 3 p.m. may be processed the next morning.
Student Accounts Services reserves the right to modify or deny any request for a book voucher.
Book vouchers will become available to students according to the timeframe outlined on the Important Dates page.
Book vouchers may no longer be requested once financial aid has posted to the student account.
Any book voucher monies which are sent to the bookstore and are not used will be returned to the student account approximately 6-8 weeks after the start of the semester. The book voucher money will then be refunded to the student.
