Gayle Goodman is president and CEO of CoEqual, a marketing communications consultancy
comprised of a network of independent, senior-level consultants who share a passion
for helping clients deliver a clear message in a noisy world.
Ms. Goodman is a communications strategist and visionary who has made her passion
for solving puzzles the cornerstone of her work. Her 20 years of experience cross
multiple disciplines, from corporate communications and investor relations to marketing
and PR. Her client base is comprised of both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations
from a variety of industries, including healthcare, home building, commercial construction,
energy (natural gas and wind), financial services, legal services, information technology,
commercial real estate and marketing services.
Prior to entering the consulting world in 2008, Ms. Goodman served as vice president
of marketing for Efficient Attic Systems, a Dallas-based residential services firm,
where she established a marketing team to serve the company's existing five markets
and developed a strategy to grow the company organically into markets nationwide.
During her tenure, her team more than doubled qualified lead generation year-over-year.
Previously, she served in a number of progressively responsible roles in marketing
and communications for Centex Corporation, one of the nation's largest home builders,
over an 11-year career. In her last role as director of communications for the national
marketing department, she served as a brand manager and an internal consultant to
marketing directors located in more than 50 markets nationwide.
Ms. Goodman earned her MBA in marketing from the University of Dallas and her bachelor's
degree in journalism from Texas Christian University. In addition to her education,
she is an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC). She has also been named a Marketer
of the Year by the American Marketing Association (Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter) and
Communicator of the Year by IABC Dallas.
In addition to her role as chief executive of Pro-Activation, Ms. Goodman serves
as executive advisor to its sister firm, ExperiPro, which is an insights-driven marketing
consulting firm that takes an outside-in approach to growth strategy development by
putting the customer at the center of the brand.
Ms. Goodman has served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Dallas since
2012 and has taught Foundations of Marketing, Brand Marketing, Services Marketing
and Value-Based Marketing for the Gupta College of Business.
