Ms. Minch is CEO of the CFA Society Dallas/Fort Worth where is fully engaged to support the growth of dedicated financial professionals committed to the highest standards of ethics, integrity and professional excellence. She actively forges new partnerships with like-minded investment decision makers at corporations, universities, financial institutions and other professional associations.
Ms. Minch is a member of the CFA Institute and volunteers with the local CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth. She has been a Board member for over 6 years and currently serves as President of the 1,800 member society that is located in one of the top financial services cities in the United States. She is also a member of the Presidents Council Governance Committee for the Members Societies of CFA® Institute (CFAI). CFAI is a global community of investment professionals with over 194,000 members in 143 countries.
In addition, Ms. Minch is a member to the Association of International Certified Professionals Accountants (AICPA) where she has been a volunteer for over 8 years and currently serves a Chair of the Advanced Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Conference Committee. The Association of International Certified Professionals Accountants is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession with more than 600,000 members.
She serves as a Lecturer at the University of Texas at Dallas, Nuveen Jindal School of Management, for various Executive Education Programs and as an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas, Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business Graduate Program. Additionally, she is also a member of the MS Finance Steering Committee for the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and Gupta College of Business at University of Dallas.
Most recently, she was a financial literacy consultant where she focused on innovative personal finance training and education programs for non-profits, corporate employee programs, high schools, colleges and universities. Prior to this position, she worked for Wiley where she created customized learning and professional development programs to help financial institutions enhance employee programs and universities enrich student curriculums. She also spent 8.5 years as a CFO for a large family office located in Dallas, TX. She managed the financial reporting, tax reporting, estate planning, compliance, accounting and various other finance and administrative functions. Prior to the CFO position, she spent many years in various roles within the finance and accounting industries. She started her professional career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen and then moved into strategic planning and finance at Greystone Communities.
Ms. Minch graduated, with honors, and received her B.B.A in Accounting and M.S. in Financial Management from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She holds a CFA® charter and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), in the State of Texas.
Outside her professional responsibilities, she enjoys fitness, outdoor activities and sports. She has a passion for jogging, hiking, weightlifting and cycling. She is an avid traveler and visited over 42 U.S. states and over 27 foreign countries.
