Sharon Pins has a Ph.D. from Capella University (2011) in Management, specializing in nonprofit organizations and financial sustainability; and a MBA in Global Marketing and Finance from the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management (2002). For the past seven years, Dr. Pins has served as Adjunct Professor at the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business at the University of Dallas, teaching courses in marketing, leadership, project management, strategic management, research and statistics, and case analysis. Dr. Pins has studied at the University of London School of Economics; the American Institute on Mt. Zion, Israel; and several additional universities throughout Europe and Asia.

Dr. Pins has over 30 years experience in corporate, nonprofit, and international environments and is currently the Director of Institutional Investments at Life Partners Inc. in Waco, Texas. She has worked with entities such as NASA and Homeland Security, Town Civil Boards, Verizon Reads, Habitat for Humanity and SUPERBUILD XXXVIII; and was an invited USA delegate to the Global Consultation on World Relief Efforts in Seoul, Korea, 1995.

On a personal note, Dr. Pins is an avid speed skater, wife, mother, grandmother, musician, horse trainer … and loves camping, fishing, and the outdoors.
