Anish has been a business analytics professional for over a decade. He works in the
banking division of USAA, the property and casualty insurance company that serves
veterans and their families. Anish is a business intelligence analyst in the Bank
Business Intelligence and Analytics (BBIA) team, and is responsible for tracking and
analyzing financial data and developing dashboards that are ultimately reviewed by
the CFO and senior management. Previously, he spent over 5 years in the mortgage industry
here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Anish has over 15 years of teaching experience. Prior to joining the University of
Dallas, he worked for 2U, an educational technology company, as an instructor for
their data analytics boot camps offered via continuing education programs at several
universities across the United States. Additionally, Anish has taught one on one and
group classes as a tutor and curriculum coordinator for tutoring agencies that offered
standardized test prep for exams including the SAT, ACT, GRE and GMAT. Anish also
tutored students to prepare for high school and college-level exams, specializing
in working with students who needed help in math, physics, chemistry, computer science
economics and statistics, among others.
Anish has a Masters degree in Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Dallas.
He also holds a Masters in Business Administration and an Engineering undergraduate
degree in Computer Science from NMIMS University in Mumbai, India.
Anish teaches the Data Analysis for Decision Making course (BUAD 5350) at the Gupta
College of Business.
