CFP Program: Executive Schedule Pathway

Executive Schedule Program Overview

This cohort option follows the accelerated pathway and is designed for professionals seeking structured, paced progression through all of the CFP Board's coursework requirement. The classes should be taken in the order listed on the schedule below. 

Program Specifics:

  • Program Length: ~11 months to complete the coursework requirement
  • # Classes to Attend: 42 (15 Fridays and 27 Saturdays)
  • Cost: $5,845 (includes tuition for all classes, course materials, and CFP Submission Fee.)
    • Students will purchase a financial calculator.
    • Pay as you go pricing available.

2026 - 2027 Executive Schedule Cohort Details

  • Dates Overall: May 29, 2026 - March 13, 2027 (Fridays & Saturdays)
  • When Will I Test: This program prepares you to take the CFP Exam in the July 2027 exam window or later.
  • Overall Cost: $5,845 is the total price you pay for all seven classes, and the course materials (physical textbooks and workbooks) are included in that price. The only additional expense is for a financial calculator. Pay as you go available.
  • Cost Breakdown: $800 per class for FP100 through FP600; $850 for Capstone (FP700); 
    $195 CFP Board Submission Fee is added to the last invoice.

Class Rhythm 

Classes FP100 - FP600: Each class meets 6 sessions over four weeks on Friday evenings and Saturdays. 

  • Weeks 1 - 2: Friday (5:30 - 9:30 PM CT) & Saturday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CT)
  • Weeks 3 - 4: Saturday Only (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CT)

Class FP700: Capstone meets 6 sessions over three weeks on Fridays (5:30 - 9:30 PM CT) and Saturdays (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM CT). Students are expected to attend all sessions.

  1. Students must attend all classes or take this class in the on-demand program.
  2. The first six classes must be completed before taking the final class: CFP Case Study / Capstone (FP700).
