MS or MBA?

The 33-hour MS degree is designed for students who seek in-depth graduate study of Accounting and requires the completion of an individual research project. The 42-hour MBA degree with an Accounting concentration is designed for students who want to incorporate Accounting education into their graduate business program. MBA students at the University of Dallas complete a real-world consulting project called The Capstone Experience.

Why UD?

The University of Dallas MS/MBA in Accounting programs are AACSB accredited programs distinctive in the commitment to experiential learning and the development of principled and moral leaders. Students who attend UD learn through both textbook and real world situations.  In order to support the teaching and learning experience presented in our program, faculty in each discipline have both business experience and outstanding academic qualifications. Further enriching this environment, many of our students are already "seasoned" business professionals in the workplace and bring their own experiences into the classroom. Learning in this manner better prepares our students for a successful professional career.

What are my career options?

Upon graduation students are prepared to sit for the CPA exam and begin a career in public accounting in fields such as assurance, taxation, consulting or forensic accounting. Others will choose career paths in business or industry in areas such as financial reporting, managerial accounting, financial analysis or treasury functions. Some students will choose to begin their careers in governmental or nonprofit organizations.
