Early in April, the Chemistry Department faculty will select and notify the scholarship finalists and alternates. The finalists will have until May 1 to accept and confirm their admission to the Institute. Alternates will then be notified if any positions remain open. The maximum number of O'Hara Institute scholarships is 20.
Important Points
- The deadline for the submission of a completed application is April 1. Only students who have been accepted for admission to UD will be eligible to attend the Institute.
- This is a competitive program. Only 20 scholarships are awarded. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Accepted students will be notified early in April and have until May 1 to accept the scholarship.
- The O'Hara Scholarships are for new students who will attend the University of Dallas in the fall. Students receive credit for General Chemistry after the completion of at least one semester at the University of Dallas.
- Scholarship students are required to live on campus.
