The Master of Leadership is a multidisciplinary program that brings together principles of the liberal arts, social sciences, and business with such courses as The Craft of Leadership, Critical and Strategic Thinking, Social Psychology, and Story-telling as a Mode of Thinking. The program is designed for executives and leaders at all levels and in various kinds of organizations, including private industry, public enterprise, schools, and non-profit organizations and groups.

The degree requires 30 credits, including a 3-credit capstone project class. The program’s mission is to provide the essential tools and strategic understanding to succeed as a leader in various kinds of organizations, including private industry, public enterprise, schools, and non-profit organizations and groups. With a focus on ethics, strategic insight, and clarity in communication, the Master of Leadership develops leaders who lead with integrity and innovate with vision. It is designed to acquaint students with “the virtues of mind and heart which are constitutive of excellence in their life’s work” as leaders.

Master of Leadership 

The Master of Leadership requires 30 credit hours, including 27 hours of course work and a 3-hour capstone class. The 27 hours of course work consists of 18 hours of required core classes and 9 hours of electives.
