Susan Rhame joined the University of Dallas in 1998. From 2016-2018 she served as
the associate dean of academic affairs. In January 2018 she stepped down from this
position to return to teaching. Rhame teaches courses in accounting research methods
and intermediate financial accounting. She is a member of the American Accounting
Association and the Texas Society of CPAs. She received her doctorate in accounting
from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Rhame
became a CPA and moved from Mississippi to Dallas in 1984 to begin her public accounting
career at Arthur Young & Co. Outside of work, Rhame enjoys scuba diving and snow skiing.
