About Professor Gutierrez-Olvera
Lucy Gutierrez-Olvera is originally from Mexico City and moved to the United States in 1998 after she married her husband. For at least 20 years, she has worked in diverse women’s spiritual formation initiatives. She has coordinated and supervised spiritual retreats where she frequently offers talks on Christian education. Her research interest is, primarily, within the art of spiritual direction and the dignity of the human person. She is the mother of four and her family life is the motor that impels her days.
