Sunday, August 24, 2025	Continuing Student Move-In. Contract food service begins.
Wednesday, August 27, 2025	Undergraduate classes begin.
Friday, August 29, 2025	Room Inventory Check IN deadline for ALL campus residents.
Monday, September 1, 2025	Labor Day. No classes.
Friday, September 12, 2025	Meal plan change deadline.
Monday, September 15, 2025	FIRM DEADLINE to submit online waiver for UD student health insurance.
Friday, October 10, 2025	Fall Reading Day. No classes for undergraduates.
Monday, October 13, 2025 through Friday, October 17, 2025	Mid-semester period.
Saturday, November 22, 2025 through Saturday, November 29, 2025	Residence Halls CLOSE @ 10 a.m. on the 22nd for the entire Thanksgiving Break period. Food service ends with Dinner on Nov 21st.
Sunday, November 30, 2025	Halls Reopen at 8 a.m. after Thanksgiving Break. Meals resume with dinner.
Friday, December 12, 2025	Final exams begin.
Wednesday, December 17, 2025	Official close of fall semester. Final exams end. Last meal served is lunch. Residence halls only close by 8 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS! Room Inventory Check OUT Deadline for spring Romers and others not returning to campus for spring.
Sunday, January 18, 2026	All Residence Halls reopen for spring term at 8 a.m. Food service resumes with Dinner on Jan 19th.
Wednesday, January 21, 2026	First spring class day.
Friday, January 23, 2026	Room Inventory Check IN deadline for new spring residents on campus.
Friday, February 6, 2026	Meal plan change deadline.
Monday, February 9, 2026	DEADLINE for newly enrolled spring students to waive UD health insurance.
Saturday, March 14, 2026 through Saturday, March 21, 2026	Spring Break – no classes. Residence Halls CLOSE @ 10 a.m. on the 14th for the entire Spring Break period. Food service ends with Dinner on March 13th.
Sunday, March 22, 2026	Residence Halls reopen @ 8 a.m. – Meals resume at Breakfast.
Wednesday, April 1, 2026	Last class day before Easter Break. The last meal served before Easter is lunch on April 2nd.
Thursday, April 2, 2026 through Monday, April 6, 2026	Easter Recess – Halls remain open. Meals resume with dinner on Monday, April 6th.
Tuesday, April 7, 2026	Classes resume.
Thursday, May 7, 2026	Last UG class day.
Saturday, May 9, 2026	UG final exams begin.
Wednesday, May 13, 2026 or Thursday, May 14, 2026	UG final exams end for all EXCEPT new students taking exams May 14th. Contract food service ends with Dinner for those leaving the 13th. Food service will be available on the 14th only to those authorized to remain until the 14th due to a late exam. ALL residential areas CLOSE by 8 p.m. (except for graduating seniors). Room Inventory Check OUT deadline for ALL departing campus residents.
