UDallas earns repeat recognition among the best colleges in the country in national ranking highlighting exceptional, lesser-known institutions

IRVING, Texas (June 2, 2026) — Once again, the University of Dallas has been named the top Hidden Gem college in Texas by College Raptor, a leading college search and rankings platform. The university is once again one of only 50 schools selected nationwide, with College Raptor choosing one standout institution per state from among thousands of colleges and universities across the country.
College Raptor's Hidden Gem College Rankings highlight exceptional schools that rank within the top half of College Raptor's overall national rankings while remaining under the radar. To qualify, institutions must receive fewer than 5,000 applications per year, enroll fewer than 7,000 undergraduate students, offer five or more unique majors and maintain an acceptance rate of 10 percent or higher.
"This recognition by College Raptor is a reflection of the consistent excellence our students experience every day at the University of Dallas," said Philip J. Harold, PhD. Dean, Constantin College of Liberal Arts. "A UDallas education has long been among the finest available anywhere in the country, and we are proud to see that recognized again."
