Immunizations

Students who live in a residence hall setting are at an increase risk for contagious diseases, some of which can be prevented by vaccines as listed below.

Required Vaccines

• Hepatitis B
• Meningococcal for students under age 22 (within last 5 years)
• Tetanus-Diphtheria or Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (within last 10 years)

Recommended Vaccines

• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Pneumococcal
• Influenza
• Polio 
• Varicella 
• Human Papillomavirus 
• Hepatitis A 
• Tuberculosis screening (if at risk)
• Meningococcal Serogroup B

 New incoming students are required to submit proof of vaccines as part of the 4 page UD Health Form available from the New Student Forms web page.
