ISC2 Houston Chapter Partnership

The University of Dallas is proud to establish a collaboration and participation in ISC2 ____Chapter's academic alliance. Through the Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business, this partnership is aimed to support cybersecurity professionals through CPE opportunities, CIS Boot Camps, participation in the annual Cybersecurity Summit, and exclusive graduate program discounts.

The Academic Partnership between the University of Dallas Gupta College of Business and the ISC2 Chapters offers:

  • Support for maintaining Continuing Professional Education (CPEs) through events and workshops
  • Participation in the annual University of Dallas annual Cyber Summit in October
  • Access to CIS Boot Camps for certification preparation – Fall and Spring Semesters
  • Partner with UD to share expertise and inspire future leaders. We offer faculty speakers for your events and invite your professionals to engage with our students through guest lectures, panels, and signature programs like Women in Business Leadership and Leaders & Legends.
  • Talent Pipeline; Internship to Full-time hires: Connect with driven, skilled students through internships or job postings. Our undergraduates complete 400 hours of hands-on work, offering immediate value and long-term talent to align with your mission.
  • Exclusive tuition discounts on graduate degree programs at the Gupta College of Business and the Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts

 

Graduate Business Programs

All students enrolled in the Gupta College of Business MBA and Master of Science (MS) programs or the Braniff Gradute School are eligible for a 20% tuition reduction through a scholarship. This tuition discount is also available to immediate family of ISC2 Houston chapter members. 

All of our graduate programs are in 12-week terms and offer rolling admissions meaning there are no admissions deadlines. As long as you submit your application two business days before the specific term start date you can begin class on the closest start date.

University of Dallas Executive Education

The Executive Education Center will work with the ISC2 Houston Chapter to provide customized continuing education. Professional development programs include certification preparation classes in the fields of finance, human resource management, cybersecurity, treasury, and project management.

  • Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP),
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM),
  • Project Management Professional (PMP),

Eligibility Requirements

  • A U.S. bachelor’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university (or the foreign equivalent)
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA in any graduate level coursework completed
  • Good academic standing with all colleges attended
  • No GMAT required

Individuals must apply to the University of Dallas through the normal application process and will be evaluated according to the same admission standards as all other applicants.
