What Will I Study?
The MS in Accounting program offers an intensive curriculum which encourages:
- specialized coverage of a wide range of topics, including financial and managerial accounting, along with tax, auditing, and financial analytics
- ethical analysis of cases in every MS accounting course

What Kind of Commitment Am I Making?
The MS in accounting is a 33-hour program comprising 11 classes. Prior to enrolling in the prgram, students need to have taken one program prequesite course, ACCT 5325 Intermediate Financial Accounting I. Almost all classes are on the Irving campus or in a hybrid format (partly online, partly on campus). This allows a wide range of face-to-face collaborative opportunities with other students and professors. No GMAT or GRE is required for admission. For the typical working professional taking two classes per semester, the MS can be completed in about 1.5 to 2 years.
