The program will also include an in-depth look at the Global Reporting Initiative, an international non-profit organization that promotes a framework for reporting sustainability. Panel Bios
Scannell is Director of Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability at VHA. She has twenty
years of experience leading corporate operations, social responsibility, organizational
sustainability and financial management efforts. She attends the Wharton IGEL: Initiative
for Global Environmental Leadership and is a member of the Sustainability Accounting
Standards Board for Healthcare and the American Hospital Association Sustainability
Taskforce. Over the past five years, Terri's programs have contributed to 17 awards
for VHA in the areas of: public relations, volunteer programs, ethics, CSR reporting,
environmental stewardship and nonprofit partnerships. Most recently, she accepted
the Distinguish Service Award from Keep America Beautiful on behalf of VHA. Terri
has degrees in Finance, a Masters of Business Administration, and a post graduate
diploma in Law (UK).
Jean-Michel Fally is a principal within Deloitte Consulting LLP's Retail Strategy
& Operations practice. Jean-Michel has over 15 years of consulting experience leading
transformation programs in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sustainability and Supplier
Collaboration for the largest Fortune 500 retail clients. He holds a BBA from the
Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris, France and an MBA from SMU's Cox School of
Business in Dallas, Texas.
Crystal Stutes is a sustainability specialist with experience in Global Reporting
Initiative (GRI) report writing and received G4 certification Oct. 2013. She currently
manages two ongoing mid-size accounts and provides strategic consulting and communications
support to clients in the healthcare, telecommunications, mobility and heavy equipment
industries. She is an expert in sustainability data collection processes for GRI and
investor/analyst reporting. She has also advised clients on materiality assessments
and prepared competitive benchmarking analysis. For two years, she was an embedded
member of the AT&T Citizenship and Sustainability Team, where she led successful reputation
management campaigns including the company's 2012 #1 ranking on Corporate Responsibility
Magazine's "100 Best Corporate Citizens," its continued improvement on the Newsweek
Green Rankings, and sustained inclusion on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. Crystal
earned a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently pursuing a master's
degree in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies, and a master's in public affairs
from the University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs.
