Alma Mater: University of Dallas

Why I love UD/Why I Recruit for UD: After coddiwompling the paths of UD for four years and reflecting upon the formation provided by the core classes, I have come to understand the phrase “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” This university holds a welcoming community of students who concern themselves with wonder towards what is just, true and beautiful. All of this is done through a playful spirit!

Favorite Spot on Campus: The Church of the Incarnation (I got confirmed as a student there) or the Capp bar! If you get a drink from the Capp Bar you must try a latte with honey and cinnamon!

Where Do You Hang Out in Dallas?: At any and every coffee shop , namely Cuppa, George and Buon Giorno. While coffee is a major passion of mine, other hangout spots include: The Sound, Oso Climbing Gym, and Sunset Point at Lakeside DFW!

Favorite Book: Love and Responsibility - Saint Pope John Paul II

Favorite Place to Eat in DFW: I am a huge cook, so normally I eat at home. The exception to this is brunch! Some great places are Le Peep, First Watch or Jam and Toast!

Favorite UD Event: Groundhog week! I love that so many UD alums and students come together to participate in various events while celebrating a rodent.

Favorite/Coolest Place I have Visited: Redwood National and State Park, Rome, Florence, Venice, Sorrento, Naples, and Palermo!

Advice to Prospective Students: Take classes you are interested in! If you feel you have decided on your major or not, talk with fellow prospective students, students at the University, and professors! Everyone wants to see you succeed in something you truly love, so seek the help. If you are able, come sit in on classes or come to visit days. This is a great way to get to know potential classmates and live like a UD student for a day!
