Hometown: Seattle, WA but UD instantly became my true home!

Alma Mater: University of Dallas 2026

Degree: B.A. Politics

Why I love UD/Why I Recruit Students for UD: UD is my home. Our university community is a place to own one’s faith, to learn how to live well, and to become the leading citizens for the Church and our country that God has invited us to be. Every day I am challenged to become a better man by friends and colleagues and to strive continuously in my love of God. I recruit to bring more students home to UD, so that they too can be challenged to become servant-leaders, to strive for excellence every day, and to love God and one another a little better each day.

Favorite Spot on Campus: The Cap Bar by far, because of my addiction to both caffeine and socializing with everyone around me.

Where do you hang out in Dallas?: Argentina Bakery and really anywhere else in Irving where there is coffee

Favorite Book: This is a hard question for a UD alum, but my favorite book is either Lord of the World by Monsignor Robert Hughes Benson or Helena by Evelyn Waugh.

Favorite Place to Eat in DFW: Jam + Toast for brunch, Italian Cafe for lunch, and The Ranch for dinner. For Mexican, there is a street food place next to a tire shop on Harry Hines Blvd that serves the best street food you will ever eat.

Favorite UD Event: Charity Week!

Favorite/Coolest Place I Have Visited: Outside of Rome (every UD alum’s answer) it would either be Malta, specifically finding the Caravaggio paintings of St. John the Baptist and St. Jerome in St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta, or the painting of the Tetragrammaton in the Peterskirche in Vienna.

Advice to Prospective Students: My father taught me not to allow doubt to hold one back. You having doubts in your head about any choice is normal and very human! Do not let doubts stop you from making a decision. Trust in God and take a jump into the unknown!
