Your first bill will be sent to you in early June with payment arrangements due by Aug. 1. To make sure that the charges on your first bill are correct, please make sure to complete the steps below. (You can read all about setting up a five-, four- or three-month payment plan via our Student Account Services page.)

  • Complete the scholarship acceptance form (see "Immediate Steps section").
  • Accept your need-based aid, if available, via BannerWeb by following these instructions.
  • Complete the verification process if you were selected for verification.
  • Optional: After accepting the federal loans in Banner, you will finalize the process by completing Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN) at studentloans.gov.
  • Optional: Waive the yearbook fee if you do not wish to order a yearbook. Here’s how to do that.

    Important note:

    Bank Mobile

Bank Mobile is the resource we use to provide students refunds should a refund be necessary. It’s free and safe.

During the Summer...

After you have graduated from high school, please send your final high school transcript to UDallas. This needs to have a date of graduation and an official signature, as well as your final cumulative GPA. (Please know that we will not use your final GPA to reevaluate your merit scholarship).

Your school can email the final transcript to admissions@udallas.edu.

In mid-June or early July, you will receive a course selection survey. Please respond to this survey right away so that the UDallas academic dean can create a first semester course schedule for you. You will receive a preliminary class schedule in late July/early August.

When you arrive at orientation, you will have your "final" schedule in your move-in packet and your academic advisor's name. You will have the chance to meet with your advisor during orientation, and then, if needed, you will be able to edit your schedule before classes begin - after arriving at UDallas for orientation weekend and meeting with your academic advisor (not prior).

If you have taken dual credit coursework in high school or a college, please ask the awarding institution's registrar to send official transcripts directly to admissions@udallas.edu.

Click here for a general overview of courses which are likely or not likely to transfer in for credit.

If you took an AP/IB exam, make sure you have your scores sent to UDallas. Here’s information on how to send scores and information on what credit you could earn with your scores. Please contact any undergraduate admission counselor to answer AP/IB credit questions.

Complete the "Report Your Scholarships Form" to report any outside scholarships you have earned so the UDallas financial aid office can add them to your account.

In Early August...

"Dorm Laughing"

The housing process (which includes selecting a roommate) will be completed through our eRezLife portal, which you will find in your UDallas BannerWeb page. Through the eRez portal, a student can fill out a roommate profile, build a roommate group and potentially choose a roommate. You'll also find your housing contract in eRez. For questions, please email studentlife@udallas.edu. In you inbox, the eRez email subject line looks exactly like this: "UD - eRezLife Campus Housing Program".

If you are a local commuting student, complete the commuter form in eRezLife

Congratulations! And happy packing! Plan ahead and feel free to ask questions. We are with you every step of the way.

Welcome to the UDallas family!
