Odyssey Day

Saturday, October 26th, 2024 and Saturday, November 16th, 2024

High school seniors (or transfers) may attend one of our Odyssey Day programs in October and November. Odyssey Day gives seniors the opportunity to experience the life of a UD student. Meet UD faculty, staff and students and immerse yourself in UD's campus and spiritual life. Plus, you can take a student-led tour of campus, get answers about campus life during the student-only panel, and meet with your admission counselor about the application process, scholarships and financial aid. Students will have an opportunity to sit in on classes the Friday before each Odyssey Day. If you've applied for a Departmental Scholarship ,* you may want to schedule your departmental interview in the days before or after Odyssey Day.

*Not all departmental scholarships require an interview. Interviews are subject to department availability. In order to be eligible to interview at an Odyssey Day, the student must complete both, their application for the scholarship and admission to UD, at least two weeks prior. Please email our campus visit coordinator if you'd like to schedule an interview.

Crusader Preview

Monday, February 17th, 2024

High school juniors and their parents are invited to spend a day in the life of a UD student during our Crusader Preview. Meet Us at the Tower

Friday, March 28, 2025 - Saturday, March 29, 2025 and Friday, April 11, 2025 - Saturday, April 12, 2025

"Meet Us at the Tower," a phrase commonly used by UD students when meeting up with friends, provides admitted high school seniors a final opportunity to experience life as a UD student prior to the May 1 National Candidate Reply Deadline. During this event, you will hear about UD traditions and the Rome Program, experience campus and spiritual life, learn about various academic departments, sports and clubs, and interact with other high school seniors who are making the same decisions as you. We'll also help you sort through all the things that are on your mind: financial aid, on-campus housing and the value of a UD education. To register, click on one of the dates above.

Homeschool Open House

June 28, 2024

Homeschool high school students and their parents are invited to spend a day on the UD campus during our Homeschool Open House. Learn what entails a successful college application for homeschool students; sample college-level coursework by attending mock lectures; enjoy a lunch with fellow homeschooled students; familiarize yourself with campus on a tour, where you'll see classrooms, student hangouts and residence halls. The Homeschool Open House is a great opportunity to gather more information about applying to UD and colleges in general as a homeschooler. Admission counselors will be available to meet with you to answer any questions you have about the application process, scholarships, financial aid or student life. We look forward to welcoming you to campus! Click here to view last year's schedule.
