Why I love UD/Why I Recruit for UD: UD's commitment to whole-person education is something that I wish I could have been a part of in undergrad! Our students are well-informed and well-formed people and I think that is a testament to the quality education and community here at UD. The camaraderie the students have working through great works of Western literature and philosophy in the Core Curriculum is evident and stands out as a unique shared experience for students and alumni.
Favorite Spot on Campus: Church of the Incarnation
Where Do You Hang Out in Dallas?: Most of my time is spent up North (Frisco-Plano area), but near Dallas I like Lower Greenville for their food, coffee and shops!
Favorite Book: Paradise Lost by John Milton
Favorite Place to Eat in DFW: Uchi Dallas
Favorite UD Event: Charity Week
Favorite/Coolest Place I have Visited: I went to Toronto for the Toronto International Film Festival a few years ago, and the city and festival were incredible!
Advice to Prospective Students: Don't just think about the opportunities that your undergraduate degree will provide for you in the future. Think about the type of person that you can become during your undergraduate years. College is not just about filling your mind with information to then go on and pursue a career. College is more about being formed as a person who can think independently, build lasting community, and identify personal values that will carry you through many different seasons of life.
