Doctor of Business Administration

Designed to accommodate working professionals seeking to enhance their careers, the DBA program is a selective, three-year 60-credit-hour program taught by scholar-practitioners using a blended format which combines both online and face-to-face learning. Based on an applied research curriculum, it is designed for professionals with significant management experience, a history of proactive leadership and problem solving and an interest in understanding the evolution of the global economy’s impact on organizations.

Master of Business Administration with Concentration

Our 30-credit-hour MBA program can be completed part-time in as few as 4-5 semesters. Offered year-round in flexible 12-week, 6-week and intermester formats, courses can be taken both on-campus and online at our main campus located just minutes outside of downtown Dallas in Irving, Texas. With four additional courses, students can earn an MBA with the following concentrations: accounting, business analytics, cybersecurity, finance, global business and information & technology management.

Complement an MBA degree with a concentration in accounting, business analytics, cybersecurity, finance, global business or IT management. 

Master of Science

Our Master of Science programs are designed for students who desire a graduate business education more specifically focused than the MBA. The Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business offers MS programs in accounting, business analytics, finance, cybersecurity and information & technology management. While program requirements vary depending on the subject matter, most MS programs can be completed in as few as 30 credit hours or combined with an MBA in a 42 credit-hour program of study.

Master of Science degrees are offered in:

  • Accounting - Prepare for an accounting career through mastering topics that include financial statement analysis, auditing, ethics and taxation; qualify to sit for the CPA exam.
  • Business Analytics - Influence strategy, processes and decision-making by exploring relationships throught data analysis. 
  • Cybersecurity - Pursue careers in areas such as threat analysis, cyber defense, network security, penetration testing and digital forensics. 
  • Finance - Gain the knowledge to help identify and measure financial risk, develop strategies to mitigate it, and assess a company's financial strategy and decisions. 
  • Information & Technology Management - Receive an intensive education in the technical and management skills needed to pursue leadership positions as an IT professional.

Graduate Certificates

All graduate certificates are offered as 18 credit-hour programs and are ideal for those who have already earned a master’s degree or are seeking more specialized knowledge in their fields. Certificates are offered in accounting, business analytics, cybersecurity, finance, global business and information & technology management.

UD Announces Highest Overall Enrollment in University History

The University of Dallas is proud to announce another year of record-breaking enrollment. Record freshmen classes within five of the last seven years have contributed to this milestone. The Class of 2022, comprised of nearly 380 students, is one of the university's largest entering classes in its more than 60-year history.

University of Dallas Expands Classical Education Program

As many as 100 classical school teachers will receive scholarships this year as the University of Dallas intensifies its efforts within the classical education arena. The university also plans to bring on two new tenure-track faculty members, each devoted primarily to one of two programs in the Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts.

Charity Week: Junior Class Tradition Encourages Unity

Next week kicks off the long-held junior class tradition, Charity Week -- and as the UD community gathers on Monday, Oct. 15, Catholics around the world also celebrate the feast of St. Teresa of Ávila, Virgin, Doctor of the Church. Lasting through Saturday, Oct. 20, the entire University of Dallas campus will raise funds for two nonprofits that align with the university's Catholic identity.
