ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Scott Hopkins Scott Hopkins

CHRISTUS Health, Director, Talent Management, Leadership Development

Scott oversees manager and director level development for 1100+ leaders across six South Central states. General responsibilities include leader onboarding, Leader Foundations within their first year, CHRISTUS Center Leadership, and on-going training through one day leadership conferences three times a year within each region. Scott has been with CHRISTUS Health for three years and in the current role for two years.

Prior to joining Christus, Scott started his career as an Air Force Officer. With a technology background, he designed systems to conduct organizational assessments for over 800,000 military members.  He worked extensively with the Air Force Academy and the Pentagon.  As an entrepreneur, Scott started his own consulting business providing services in talent management and organizational development. This led to Talent Management responsibilities in Healthcare with Durable Medical Equipment and CHRISTUS Health.

System Director of Talent Management CHRISTUS Health

Lisa has been with CHRISTUS Health for 19 years and has over 25 years of healthcare experience with prior operational responsibility in Patient Advocacy/Patient Relations, Volunteer Services, Risk Management, Service Excellence, Education, and Organizational Development.  

Lisa leads the overall vision, strategy, standards and protocols for the Talent Management Center of Excellence at CHRISTUS to include Leadership Development, Competency and Performance Management, Career Planning, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Learning and Capability Development and technology to support Talent Management.

Lisa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Regis University, an MBA from Louisiana State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio.

Lisa’s passion is being a development chemist who serves as a catalyst that assists others in unleashing their talents to discover their full potential. Lisa also enjoys running, dark chocolate, and laughing with colleagues, friends, and loved ones.
