What I Love About UD: When I moved from California to Texas to attend the University of Dallas, my entire family moved with me. My dad was born in Dallas and has family in Texas, so it was like coming home for him. My mom is the adventurous type and loved the idea of moving to Texas. It was the best move for me and my family. The southern hospitality is real. The gas prices were lower, too. Being located near many Fortune 500 companies was a bonus I did not expect. From my very first year as a freshman, I found myself networking with working professionals in DFW, many of whom worked for major Fortune 500 companies. That head start led me straight to a job in Dallas right after graduation.
And the University of Dallas was the perfect fit for me. I liked the 12:1 student to teacher ratio. UD professors knew students by name and really journeyed alongside us. My Rome semester was life-changing. I met friends who shared my values and faith. I built deep friendships and great memories I will carry with me for a lifetime.
