Major: Theology; Minor: Business

Hometown: Waller, TX

Notable Memory: A notable UD memory is always the male auction during Charity Week, one of my all-time favorite UD traditions. All of the gals dress up, form groups to bid on a group of guys, and have an evening filled with joy and laughter. I also loved running the Turkey Trot, a 5K around the Vatican, during my semester abroad.

Achievements: I am a first-generation student who received the Trustee Scholarship and Senator William Haine Scholarship. I have made the Dean's List almost every semester at UD and received a high pass for my theology comprehensive exam. On a more personal note, I launched my small business, Threaded by Angela, during my senior year and won the swing dance competition at Student Foundation's first Jazz Night.

Future Plans: I am working as a sewing instructor at Mary's Land Farm in Ellicott City, MD. In the fall, I will begin my full-time position as a Team Saint Paul Missionary for the Archdiocese for Military Services, serving as a civilian missionary on a military base.

"Do not look forward in fear to the changes in life; rather, look to them with full hope that, as they arise, God, whose very own you are, will lead you safely through all things. The same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. He will either shield you from suffering, or give you unfailing strength to bear it." — St. Francis de Sales

"One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want." — Proverbs 11:24
